The prices are reasonable as well, my family buys Nishiki rice brand and Nijiya is the cheapest as compared to other stores. It's almost a $10 difference and the price Nijiya hasn't changed. When I step into Nijiya it's like stepping into a shop in Japan, this store has a more neighborhood feel as compared to the Ala Moana Shopping Center location.

I think Nijiya's prepared foods are decently tasting and reasonably priced. They do have various sales where one of their prepared items are like a buck off. Most of the time, it's going to be better to reheat the food, especially if it's fried, as they're all being refrigerated. Similar to the other Nijiya locations in the south bay, this market serves a variety of Japanese food products, like sushi, sashimi, mochi, and Japanese drinks / candies. Nijiya is my go-to stop for supermarket prepared foods in the area. While the store may seem relatively small the selection of land and sea animals is fairly impressive. If you're looking to make sashimi, shabu or yakiniku there's not much left to be desired from their line up of ingredients compared to some of the larger stores in the area.
