2024 Davinci resolve grab still greyed out

I'm new to Davinci Resolve v17. I've noticed some of my clips are greyed out in the timeline I created, but still seem to active and playing (see photo -- Video 5 track on timeline), while other clips are highlighted. In the Color page go to the video screen, right mouse click on the frame you want to export and select grab still. In the Stills panel right click on the still and export to your desired format. I am using the free version of Resolve. Currently i am struggling with enabling dual screen mode on Mac OS. On Windows i can go to "Workspace -> Dual Screen -> On" and Resolve switches to dual screen mode. On Mac OS i cannot. The "On" in "Workspace -> Dual Screen" is greyed out. Nevertheless, "Workspace -> Primary Screen" is detecting both .... Seluvis

I may not be wording exactly right but Blackmagic greyed out the iso because it is treated so differently between camera companies and it’s difficult to get them all in line with one control system. If you have launched Resolve after you have the iMac acting as a second screen, and the Dual Screen menus are grayed out, then apparently Resolve does not think that's an actual second screen.
